In 2020, I was offered an opportunity to ghostwrite for a well-known author.
It was an exciting prospect for me as I had always dreamed of being a published writer.
The pay was good and the exposure would have been great for my career.
However, I made the mistake of not thoroughly reviewing the contract before signing it.
In my eagerness to jump into this new opportunity, I missed some crucial details.
And unfortunately, those details ended up costing me a lot of money.
The contract stated that all rights to the content I wrote would belong solely to the author.
