What Should Be Included In The Ghostwriter Contract?
The first rule of conducting business is to have a good contract. If you’re new to ghostwriting, you may browse the internet for a ghostwriting contract sample. That’s not unusual. However, I would highly recommend not entirely relying on a template for legal matters. A contract is your best tool for securing a partnership with your client. The contract should clearly and concisely breakdown the terms of agreement between you and your client.
Be aware of clients who want to avoid signing contracts or working with you on a pay via check arrangement. Usually those are red flags in business and could lead to serious trouble. If your client does not have a contract, as the professional you should always have a standard contract available. You can modify the contract as necessary.
